Ambrose Crick known to many as Bowie, my grandad was the kindest man i have ever met, nothing was too much for him he would do anything for anyone.
Up at 5 every morning to go to work, even after retirement he still worked at the local newsagents doing cash and carry runs, helping out and even covering for the paper boys when they didnt get out of bed in time.
He was quite a healthy man until one day he went home in the evening and suffered a massive stroke, my nan tried to have him at home for a while but being ill herself it was too much. it was strange as he always looked after her usually. He then went into a nursing home. when my nan/his wife died on 11th nov 2002 he couldnt accept it, he went down hill from there refused to eat and drink and generally just gave up on life.
he lasted 4 months like that and eventually his organs couldnt take anymore he fell asleep on 6th march 2003. you could say this was a real love story he died of a broken heart xxx i love you grandad xxxx

Ello grandad, hope you and nan had a nice xmas n new year. mine was ok, would of ben better if you and nan were still here to spend it with.
I miss you so much. Im so glad mum told you i was pregnant before you left us and i hope you showed nan the scan pic i gave you. well that baby was a girl i called her Chantelle, she is beautiful you would love her.she is 5 now, the year after i had another daughter i called sinead she is 4. They both go to big school now.
Dan has a little girl now too called chardonnay she is gorgeous.
I now live the next block up from your house which i like although its kinda weird walking past your house n you not being there, i so badly wish you could walk out the door and see me.
